First off, I searched and I did find some threads, but there all out-dated. No can anyone supply me with a build that I can solo farm Avicara or alot of feathers with either a Ele, monk, ranger, or necro?

You can 600/smite them with your monk.

The absolutely easiest way to farm feathers is Nahpui Quarter HM with 600/smite.

very easy farm for monk outside of d'alessio seaboard. Go with the rune package of a 55 monk, except i use Kephets Refuge for the quick recharge on prot. prayers, which leaves my health at 105. Very simple smite build, using <vigorous spirit> as a cover enchant for the mesmers, and <shielding hands> to reduce all dmg to 0.

9 prot.
13 divine
</protective spirit> <healing breeze> <shielding hands> <vigorous spirit> <Shield of judgement> <blessed aura> <essence bond> <balthazar's spirit>

cast 1-2-3-4. aggro. draw out interrupt of mesmer with essence bond... cast soj. wand mesmer, and make sure to recast your cover enchants. enjoy!

I found outside Seitung Habor in the area of Jaya Bluffs is very easy to get feathers. You can farm with Normal mode with those monster mobs Tengu which drops : feathers and feathered crest you can salvage into feather. There are so many group with low level with pulling can kill them easily.

With Ritualist VwK build ftw.

I don't use another profession for farming so, sorry if it off topic.

I tried 600/smite Nahpui Quarter HM, but I couldn't bring those Rt healers down. Do you mind sharing how you do it ? Thanks

The regular 600/smite build
doesn't do so
hot in naphui.

You can solo Nahpui Quarter ot he area north of Seitung Habor with a Ranger.

The builds are at the Ranger beacon. R/E for Seitung harbor and R/W for Nahpui.

Plenty of feathers from both places, though Nahpui you can get tons of iron too, as well as better weapon drops, but Seitung harbor you get alot of Rune drops in so.....

North Kryta province HM for feathers, gold items, charcoal and more. I don't see anything beating that in terms of speed, ease and volume. The SF assassins works well up there, and I hear a 300 rt will to, might be other stuff does too. Just piss off as many as you can and use ebon battle standard and sliver armor to buzz saw through the lot of them. Every time I go out there I get a half stack of feathers at least, at least 1 gold(I once got 10 golds in about 20-30 run on the whole area), a buttload of runed armor, junk whites to salvage/merch and on the way you can hit the fire imps and bog scales for charcoal and scales. If for some reason you don't fill your inventory head up to Nebo terrace and kill those tengu, zone back to NKP and kill more ect.
